My name is Ruth Chausse, and I’ve lived in the Columbia River Gorge since 1988. I came here because within 40 miles in any direction, I can hike the rainforest, ski high alpine mountains, run and ride in the desert, or beautiful green valleys. I can not imagine a better place to settle. The small communities throughout the Gorge offer the type of intimacy that is very hard to come by. I can honestly say that I have never had so many wonderful friends. I genuinely enjoy helping new people settle here and share in this wonderful experience. The Gorge is a fantastic place to live, work, and play!
For the last 26 years, I have been working full-time as a Realtor. I list and sell property on both sides of the river and have an extensive knowledge of the real estate market in both areas.
